The CA Model

Implements the Producer/Consumer conceptual model as a cellular automaton: individual cells transition between three states — uncolonized, producer, and consumer — with dynamics governed by probabilistic rules based on each cell's neighbours. Shows how spatial interactions and neighbourhood-based decisions create emergent population dynamics.
